Abstract

Search and rescue (SAR) operations present unique challenges that require robust and adaptable robotic solutions. This study explores the design requirements for SAR robots through a comprehensive numerical study and simulation approach. By examining key aspects such as mobility, sensing capabilities, autonomy, and durability, this research aims to develop optimized designs that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SAR missions. The findings from the simulations highlight critical design considerations and provide valuable insights into the development of advanced SAR robots capable of operating in diverse and challenging environments. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of design requirements for search and rescue robots, utilizing numerical study and simulation approaches to optimize their performance in disaster scenarios.
